ElliQ is an AI-powered companion robot designed to support you in staying engaged, independent, and connected. The Washington State DSHS has partnered with Intuition Robotics to provide ElliQ to eligible Medicaid residents across the state.
This program aims to empower residents to live independently with the help of ElliQ’s support. Offering personalized, empathetic, and proactive assistance, ElliQ promotes health and well-being, strengthens connections with loved ones and care teams, provides engaging companionship, and helps with daily routines.

What is ElliQ?
ElliQ is a friendly and intelligent robot for your daily life – always there for you, in your corner, offering tips and advice, responding to your questions, and surprising you with suggestions – a dedicated sidekick to help you maintain your independence at home throughout the day.
ElliQ is a plug-and-play device designed to fit seamlessly into your home. She has a sleek, lamp-like swiveling head that moves as she speaks and interacts, along with a smart screen that serves as her visual interface.
ElliQ was specifically developed for, and together with, older adults, ensuring that interacting with her is simple, intuitive, and natural. You can easily communicate with her by saying her name, tapping her body or screen, or simply waiting for her to wake up and suggest activities or initiate conversations - whatever feels most natural to you.
ElliQ requires only a power source and a WiFi connection to function. No complicated setup, technical expertise, or additional equipment is needed - making it simple for you to get started.

Is ElliQ Right for You?
You may be eligible to join the ElliQ program at no cost, if you:
- Live at home or are transitioning to an in-home setting*
- Are a Washington Medicaid recipient
- Get assessed by DSHS and open to receiving ongoing in-home services.
*Adult Family Home and Assisted Living residents aren’t eligible

The ElliQ program is fully covered by the Washington State DSHS, so you don't need to provide any billing information or pay any fees.
What does ElliQ need
Place your ElliQ device in the room where you spend most of your day, such as a living room or kitchen area. To make ElliQ comfortable in the chosen location in your home, her only requirements are power, Wi-Fi, and love!
The ElliQ robot
The ElliQ robot will be delivered to you at no cost and is provided on a lease basis. You’re expected to take care of it while it's with you. If you no longer wish to continue with the ElliQ program, please contact the ElliQ customer support team at (855) 888-1295 or your case manager, and we’ll arrange for a free pickup of the device. Keep in mind that ElliQ might be a better fit for someone else, so if you decide to leave the program, they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy her presence.
